I’m at my grandma’s house (paternal) this week and two days ago, we made dumplings. Naturally, I broke out my camera and my new 35mm f/1.8. No other explanation needed.

Step 1. Stuffing — This first part is getting the inside filling ready. There are a lot of special ingredients that my grandma uses, most particular of which are chopped vermicelli noodles (try it, it’s seriously amazing). But this is mainly a chopped mixture of ground pork and various vegetables.
Step 2. Skin — The picture immediately below are ones that are purchased from a market but we also made a fresh batch too - knead some dough, chop it up into little quarter sized pieces, and then roll out some thin circular shapes!
Steps 3 + 4. Putting it all together + steaming.
So. Good. <3
